Private Internet Access VPN is a great product with minimum impact on your connection speed. But it has been always criticized in the independent reviews for the lack of server locations outside of North America. That's probably one of the reasons they recently introduced 7 new locations, out of which 4 are new countries. On the other hand, they have to close server in South Korea due to issues with local authorities.

Private Internet Access VPN Adds Servers in 4 New Countries and Shuts Down 1
The current number of PIA VPN servers in the World is 43 locations, 28 countries, and more than 3.172 servers. The latest addition includes following locations:
- Atlanta, United States
- Vancouver, Canada
- Austria
- Belgium
- Manchester, United Kingdom
- Spain
- Czech Republic
According to the official blog post especially the Czech Republic location has been often requested by PIA users. Not sure why this one in particular.
All new servers have 10Gbit connectivity so you shouldn't notice any impact on your Internet connection speed. That's also something we have concluded during our PIA VPN speed test.
According to the comment on the PIA Forum from Jayson, Head of CS the next server locations should be released pretty soon and should include Bulgaria, Greece, Poland, and Hungary. It's great to see they are expanding their footprint.
The one sad loss is South Korea. According to some local sources, PIA realized the local law enforcement is going to mirror their server in South Korea. Although there are no personal data stored as Private Internet Access doesn't store any logs, they have decided to terminate all their server in South Korea.
