Hotspot Shield is Launching a VPN Product for Businesses

Hotspot Shield is famous for their decent free VPN solution Hotspot Shield Free. Recently they have released a new product which is tailored for small businesses (up to 20 employees). The product is called Hotspot Shield Business VPN and it brings all the extras of Hotspot Shield Elite plus a bit more. Obviously, it’s not free and starts from $19.99 per month (if you get a yearly license).

VPN for businesses is quite a niche market and not many typical VPN providers are in it. The need to use VPN in a business environment is definitely lower because companies are usually securing their internal networks using other tools. But the risk increases if employees are allowed to work remotely or have access to some company data from their personal mobile devices.

Hotspot Shield Business VPN includes unlimited traffic bandwidth, dedicated VPN server in a close location to ensure fast connections, 24/7 live customer care, running up to 20 devices simultaneously, and web-based admin console for user management.

The end user client is multi-platform (same as the free version) and will work on your Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices. The user interface is exactly the same and we love it.

All this for a decent price of $19.99 per month if you get a yearly subscription for $239.88. That’s approximately 1 dollar per device per month – not a bad price certainly. If you get the monthly subscription it’s significantly more expensive and will cost you $39.99.

To who is Hotspot Shield Business VPN suitable? For small businesses which employees are working remotely or using a mobile device to access company data (like e-mail for example). By enabling VPN product business owners can be assured their valuable data will remain safe and private.

There aren’t many other VPN vendors who would be offering a solution for businesses. With exception of NordVPN and PureVPN.
